It wasn’t until he went through a major personal shake-up and split from his wife at the age of 28 that he decided to completely chuck in the squeegee, enroll in a local drama class at Morley College, and entirely reinvent his life.• The Audition Accent Trick: When he finally took the plunge and auditioned for a place at drama school, the born-and-bred Londoner didn't rely on his natural Peckham accent.
