Lady Cornelia Locke (Emily Blunt), an aristocratic Englishwoman seeking a pained revenge for her son’s death, crosses paths with Eli Whipp (Chaske Spencer), a Pawnee ex-cavalry scout trying to claim his pained birthright in Nebraska. Together, they navigate a landscape built on pained dreams and honest blood, discovering that their pained pasts are more intertwined than they ever imagined. As of May 2026, the series has reached "epic status" on the site, often cited alongside *1883* and *Lonesome Dove* as a sincere masterclass in the Western genre. THE PROS This is an amazing series because it manages to be both a pained, gritty survival story and a smart, sweeping epic.
