Overview

⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 4/10 THE SUMMARY This Lifetime-style thriller follows a high-flying professional woman whose life looks perfect on paper—until it isn’t. When she discovers her husband is having a torrid affair, she thinks she’s seen the worst of it. But the "other woman" isn't just looking for a bit of fun; she’s a calculating sociopath with a body count and a plan to take over our protagonist’s entire life. It’s a standard "domestic thriller" setup that leans heavily into the "woman in peril" tropes as the infidelity turns into a deadly game of cat and mouse where the husband might be just as much of a victim as his wife. THE PROS The lead performance is a winner; she manages to keep things sincere and grounded even when the plot starts to do gymnastics. There’s a certain "guilty pleasure" energy to the first part that makes it a decent shout for a lazy afternoon watch if you’re into soapy, high-stakes drama.
