⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 6/10 THE SUMMARY The final chapter of the often-ignored Showtime TV trilogy sees Luc Deveraux (Matt Battaglia) and reporter Veronica Roberts continuing their run from the shadowy CIA "UniSol" program. This time, the stakes are raised as the rogue director, Mentor, prepares to launch a full-scale army of reanimated soldiers. The plot centers on a hidden base in a remote mountain range and involves the cloning of Luc’s brother to create the ultimate assassin. It’s a low-budget conclusion that attempts to wrap up the "Brothers in Arms" arc while leaning heavily into the military conspiracy angle that defined this specific era of the franchise. THE PROS The film is a win for viewers who enjoy the "man on the run" dynamic; the chemistry between the leads is sincere and provides a consistent thread through the trilogy. Matt Battaglia continues to be a total belter as the stoic lead, handling the physical demands of the role with a rugged authenticity. For a TV movie, the practical pyrotechnics in the final base assault are a celebratory explosion of effort, showing that the crew really tried to give the story a "big" send-off.
