    ⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 5/10 THE SUMMARY Director Tim Cruz takes us on a messy spring break trip in this Tubi original thriller. Four college friends—Maika, Taylor, Shay, and the famous social media influencer Autumn (Annalisa Cochrane)—hit Miami for a wild vacation. Things take a dark turn when Autumn vanishes after hooking up with a local drug dealer, Cameron. When her body is eventually found, the media frenzy ignites, and the police (along with a mysterious "I Know Who Killed Me" account) point the finger at her three best friends. Through a series of toxic flashbacks, we learn that Autumn wasn't exactly the "Team Mom" she appeared to be, leading to a twisty revelation about who actually ended her trip early. THE PROS Annalisa Cochrane is a winner here; she plays Autumn with a sharp, "Alpha Bitch" energy that makes her character’s descent into villainy feel sincere and believable. It earns a 5/10 because the film does a decent, honest job of exploring "Missing White Woman Syndrome," showing how the media obsesses over Autumn while casting her non-white friends as the villains. Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut delivers a high-quality performance as Maika, grounding the chaotic plot with some much-needed gravity. The first part of the movie captures that neon, sun-soaked Miami vibe perfectly, making the transition into a grim murder mystery feel genuinely gripping. It’s a total banger for fans of "trashy" Tubi thrillers who want a plot filled with influencers, drugs, and messy betrayal. THE CONS It lands a 5/10 because the middle part is quite sluggish, getting bogged down in repetitive flashbacks that don't always offer new information. The dialogue can be a bit of a clanger, filled with "gen-z" slang and influencer-speak that feels a touch forced and quality-deficient. It misses a higher mark because the central mystery is a bit of a head-scratcher; the "big twist" relies on characters acting in ways that defy all logic just to keep the suspense going. The production value feels a bit "Lifetime-lite" at times, and the reveal of the person behind the harassing social media account feels rushed and slightly unearned.
