This South Korean thriller centers on an elite high-rise apartment building that gets sealed off when a new "mad person disease" turns residents into blood-drinking predators. It follows a kick-ass special agent and her detective friend who finally secure their dream flat, only to find themselves trapped in a class-war petri dish. It’s a witty-ly sharp look at how quickly neighbors turn on each other when the Wi-Fi goes out and the thirst for blood kicks in. THE PROS Han Hyo-joo and Park Hyung-sik are a total win; their "fake marriage for housing points" dynamic brings a sincere, grounded heart to all the throat-ripping chaos. The show is the business because it treats the zombies—or "infected"—more like addicts, making every encounter a genuine belter of tension rather than just a CGI gore-fest. It’s an authentic exploration of social hierarchy, where the rich residents on the top floors are often more monstrous than the infected in the basement. The pacing is high-octane and doesn't suffer from the usual K-drama filler.
