Kleo follows a former Stasi assassin who is betrayed, imprisoned, and then suddenly released after the Berlin Wall falls, only to start hunting down everyone who wronged her. It blends spy drama with pure revenge energy and adds a strange, playful edge that keeps it feeling fresh. THE PROSJella Haase is electric as Kleo, cold, calculated, and just unhinged enough to make every scene unpredictable. The show nails its tone, mixing brutal violence with dry humour that actually lands. Visually it has real personality too, shifting from bleak East Berlin to the colourful madness of the post wall world. When it hits its stride, it is seriously entertaining. THE CONSThe tone can wobble at times. The jump between serious espionage and quirky humour does not always feel smooth. Some plot threads get a bit messy, and a few twists do not land as strongly as they should. It occasionally feels like it is making things up as it goes, even if it still manages to keep you watching. THE VERDICTAn 8/10. Sharp, strange, and full of personality.
