    ⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 7/10 THE SUMMARY If you think your Tinder dates are bad, try having them when you’re a 6ft 7in green giantess who can bench-press a bus. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022) follows Jennifer Walters, a brilliant, career-focused lawyer whose life gets flipped upside down after an accident leads to a messy blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner. Suddenly, she’s the face of a Superhuman Law Division, juggling high-octane court cases for B-list villains while trying to keep her personal life from becoming a total circus. It witty-ly breaks the fourth wall, treating the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the irreverent, "sincere" lack of respect it occasionally deserves. THE PROS Tatiana Maslany is spot on as Jen; she brings a 100% authentic, relatable energy to a role that could easily have felt like a wet cartoon. Her chemistry with the supporting cast—especially Ginger Gonzaga as her best mate Nikki—is a total win and keeps the office banter feeling top-tier. The show is at its business when it leans into the "case of the week" format, giving us high-octane cameos like Wong and a surprisingly funny return for Emil Blonsky. It’s a genuine masterclass in meta-humour, directly addressing the "online trolls" and MCU tropes in a way that is both witty and punchy. It’s a refreshing, low-stakes palate cleanser that doesn't take itself too seriously. THE CONS It settles at a 7/10 because the CGI is, frankly, a bit of a head-scratcher. At times, Jen’s Hulk form looks 100% authentic, but in other scenes, she hits a Languid Burn and looks a bit "uncanny valley," which can pull you out of the story. The finale is a sincere "love it or hate it" moment—it goes so far into the meta-vault that it almost breaks the narrative entirely, which might feel a bit too clever for its own good for some fans.
