    ⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 9/10 THE SUMMARY Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) are living a dream life in the quiet town of Westview, New Jersey. The catch? Their reality keeps shifting through different decades of TV sitcom history, from black-and-white 1950s hijinks to 2000s mockumentary styles. As the glossy suburban surface begins to crack, it becomes clear that something much darker is happening. Wanda is struggling with a mountain of grief, and the outside world is trying to break into her perfect bubble to find out who is really in control. THE PROS This is a massive highlight for the MCU because it’s so weird and experimental. It hits a 9 because Elizabeth Olsen gives an epic performance, perfectly mimicking the acting styles of every era while showing the deep, pained sadness underneath. Paul Bettany is just as good, bringing a lot of heart and humor to a character who is technically a dead android. The show handles the theme of grief in an honest way that feels very human, making it more than just a superhero story. The mystery keeps you hooked, and the "Agatha All Along" reveal was a total standout moment that everyone was talking about. It’s a creative, bold series that proves these characters can carry a heavy, emotional story on their own. THE CONS It stays at a 9 because the final episode feels a bit like a standard superhero movie, with people flying around throwing magic at each other, which clashes a bit with the unique sitcom style of the earlier episodes. It misses a higher mark because some of the secondary characters outside the bubble aren't quite as interesting as what's happening inside Westview. The pacing can feel like a bit of a slog in the middle when the show explains how everything works, and the "Ralph Bohner" joke was an honest head-scratcher for fans who were expecting a much bigger multiverse reveal. While the ending is emotional, some might find the scale of the "super-combat" at the end a bit too much for such a personal story. THE VERDICT 9/10. A creative, emotional, and visually stunning journey through the history of TV. It’s an epic result for Marvel and a fair shout for the most original thing they've ever made. INSOMNIAC TRIVIA • To make the first episode feel authentic, it was filmed in front of a live studio audience who had to sign secret agreements, and the crew even wore 1950s-style clothing on set.• Paul Bettany had to wear bright blue makeup for the black-and-white episodes because his usual red Vision makeup looked too dark and muddy on camera in that format.• Elizabeth Olsen had to learn how to do "period-appropriate" housework and slapstick comedy, studying old shows like 'Bewitched' to get the movements and timing exactly right for each decade. THE VIBE Like a TV set that won't turn off. It smells of static electricity, fresh-baked pies, and the metallic tang of a fading memory.
