⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 9/10 THE SUMMARY The show that made cowboy hats cool again and turned Montana into the most dangerous place on Earth. Yellowstone is a sprawling neo-Western epic following John Dutton (the legendary Kevin Costner), a sixth-generation rancher who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the U.S.. It’s a brutal, sun-drenched saga where the family fights off land developers, the neighboring reservation, and each other. By April 2026, it’s remembered as the definitive blueprint for modern "prestige" Westerns—ending its massive run back in December 2024 but leaving a wake of spin-offs in its path. THE PROS The cinematography is a "Guaranteed Banger"—the landscape looks so good it’s basically a lead character. The casting is a Masterpiece; Kelly Reilly as Beth Dutton is a force of nature who eats corporate sharks for breakfast. The show’s grit is 100% authentic because Taylor Sheridan actually puts the actors through "Cowboy Camp" to make sure they look like they’ve actually seen the business end of a horse. It’s also surprisingly deep; beneath the shootouts, it’s a sincere look at the death of a way of life in a world that doesn’t value history anymore.
