⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 6/10 THE SUMMARY Hunter Franklin is the newly elected President of the United States, but don't let the sharp suits and the interracial "perfect family" optics fool you. Behind the doors of the White House, the First Family is a den of vipers. Hunter is a philandering sociopath, First Lady Victoria is a cold-blooded manipulator, and their children are a cocktail of volatility and excess. As the First Family indulges in sex, scandals, and betrayal, the dedicated White House staff—led by head butler Richard Hallsen—finds themselves caught in a web of corruption where survival is the only real policy. THE PROS This is a 6/10 because it is the ultimate "guilty pleasure" soap opera. Tyler Perry knows exactly how to dial the drama up to eleven, delivering plot twists that are so over-the-top they become addictive. Kron Moore is a standout as Victoria; she plays the "villainous First Lady" role with such icy precision that you can’t help but watch her every move.
