⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 8/10 THE SUMMARY Based on a stranger-than-fiction true story, Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson star as Mike and Claire Sardina, two down-on-their-luck musicians in Milwaukee. Mike is a Neil Diamond obsessive and Claire is a Patsy Cline impersonator; together, they form the tribute duo "Lightning & Thunder." The film follows their journey from playing local bars to becoming cult legends, eventually opening for Pearl Jam. But life isn't all "Sweet Caroline" singalongs; the couple has to navigate Mike's battle with alcoholism and a tragic accident that leaves Claire struggling with a life-changing injury. It’s a musical drama about finding your voice—and a second chance at love—when the world has already written you off.
