⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 8/10 THE SUMMARY Tanjiro and the crew board the mysterious Mugen Train to help the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, hunt down a demon responsible for dozens of missing passengers. Once on board, they fall into a deep, supernatural sleep controlled by the demon Enmu, who uses their own dreams to trap them. Tanjiro has to find a way to wake up and take down the demon before it devours every soul on the train. The film builds toward a massive, high-stakes duel between Rengoku and a powerful Upper Moon demon named Akaza. THE PROS The animation is epic status—Ufotable used digital compositing that makes the flame effects and sword fights look punchy and cinematic. Rengoku is a total belter; he’s charismatic, powerful, and brings the emotional weight that makes the second half of the film iconic. It’s highly recommended because the final battle isn't just about flashy moves; it’s a clash of philosophies that hits home. It’s a 8/10 because it bridges the gap between seasons perfectly and delivers a celebratory explosion of action and genuine heartbreak. THE CONS If you haven't seen the first season, you’ll be in a total mess as the movie offers zero backstory.
