⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 8/10 THE SUMMARYA surprisingly gripping survival thriller that deserved far more attention than it got. Desert Warrior throws you into a brutal landscape of sand, heat, betrayal, and desperation, following a group of strangers forced together in the middle of chaos where trust becomes just as dangerous as the environment itself. What starts as a straightforward survival story slowly reveals a more emotional and character driven core underneath all the tension. THE PROSAnthony Mackie gives the film real momentum. He has that natural ability to make even simple scenes feel engaging, and the chemistry between him and Aiysha Hart adds genuine emotional weight to the story. Visually, the film looks fantastic too, making proper use of the desert setting instead of just using it as scenery. There is a constant feeling of isolation and danger hanging over everything, which keeps the tension alive even in quieter moments. THE CONSIt is not flawless. Some supporting characters feel underused, and there are moments where the dialogue pushes a little too hard for dramatic impact. A few scenes also feel like they were trimmed down too much in editing, making certain emotional turns happen faster than they should have.
