⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 8/10 THE SUMMARY Ohm Bauman (Adam Scott) is a prickly, cynical novelist who writes depressing books because his real life hasn't exactly been a sunshine-and-rainbows affair. He travels to a remote, weathered inn in rural Ireland to scatter his parents' ashes at the site of their honeymoon. The vibes are immediately "off." The inn’s owner tells tales of a witch haunting the locked honeymoon suite, and when a hotel staffer vanishes, Ohm is forced to enter the room. What he finds isn't just a ghost story; it’s a psychological labyrinth where his past trauma and some very real, very physical supernatural horrors collide. THE PROS Damian McCarthy is becoming the king of "low-budget, high-terror" cinema. After Oddity and Caveat, he’s mastered the art of making a simple room feel like a death trap. The "Honeymoon Suite" sequence is a masterclass in tension—it’s claustrophobic, unpredictable, and features some of the best production design in 2026 horror.
