She moves in with her younger sister, Léa (Elsa Zylberstein), who was just a child when Juliette was hauled away. The film isn't a thriller about the crime itself, but a quiet, searing study of how Juliette—and her traumatized family—slowly re-learns how to exist. It’s a French drama that trades high-stakes action for high-stakes eye contact, exploring whether some things are truly unforgivable or if time eventually heals even the deepest scars. THE PROS Kristin Scott Thomas is a "Guaranteed Banger." She delivers what many critics called a career-best performance, playing Juliette with a "flinty, hollowed-out" intensity that makes you want to hug her and back away slowly at the same time.
