⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 7/10 THE SUMMARY Following the aftermath of a catastrophic mission, a battle-hardened commando is forced into a gritty underworld to track down a rogue element from his past. As he navigates a web of betrayal within his own ranks, he has to decide if he’s fighting for queen and country or just a pained sense of personal vengeance. It’s a raw, low-budget British action thriller that leans into the visceral reality of veteran life and the shadow world of private security, proving that some soldiers never truly leave the battlefield. THE PROS This is an absolute win for fans of "Brit-flick" action. It hits a 7 because it swaps Hollywood gloss for a sincere, mud-and-blood grit that feels incredibly honest. The hand-to-hand combat is a banger—fast, messy, and lacking the over-choreographed dance moves of bigger blockbusters. The lead gives a pained, stoic performance that captures the quiet intensity of a man who has seen too much. It’s an epic example of how to make a high-stakes thriller on a tight budget by focusing on atmospheric tension and realistic tactical movement.
