    ⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 9/10 THE SUMMARY This isn’t just another video game movie; it’s a psychedelic trip through the cosmos that actually respects the source material. Mario and Luigi aren’t just plumbing the sewers anymore—they’re hopping across planetoids with gravity-defying physics that make the first movie look like a tutorial level. It’s vibrant, breathtaking, and honestly, it’s the most fun you can have with your shoes on. THE PROS The visuals are an absolute masterclass in color and imagination. Seeing the Comet Observatory realized in high-def animation is a "shut up and take my money" moment. The orchestral score pulls heavily from the original Wii masterpiece, hitting all those nostalgic notes while feeling fresh. Rosalina is a standout, bringing a bit of much-needed mystery and grace to the chaotic Mushroom Kingdom energy. THE CONS The pacing is so fast it occasionally feels like you’re being fired out of a Launch Star without a map. If you aren't familiar with the "Galaxy" lore, some of the gravity mechanics and Luma politics might feel like a fever dream. Also, Bowser’s musical numbers—while still funny—feel a bit like they’re trying to catch lightning in a bottle for the second time. THE VERDICT A 9/10 that reaches for the stars and actually hits them. It’s a gorgeous, high-energy spectacle that proves Nintendo is the current king of the big screen. It’s short, sweet, and leaves you wanting to explore every single corner of the universe. INSOMNIAC TRIVIA Charles Martinet has a secret cameo as the voice of an ancient Luma, a beautiful passing of the torch. Also, the animators reportedly studied old Apollo moon landing footage to get the "floaty" jump physics just right for the low-gravity scenes. THE VIBE Like being five years old again and staring at a clear night sky. It’s pure, unadulterated joy wrapped in a neon-lit galaxy.
