⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 7/10 THE SUMMARY Welcome to the "Silver Timeline," where Master Chief takes his helmet off more than a Spartan at a spa day. *Halo* (2022–2024) is the massive-budget adaptation of the legendary Xbox franchise that finally made it to screen after a decade in development hell. Set during the war between the UNSC and the alien Covenant, it follows John-117 (Pablo Schreiber) as he discovers a mysterious artifact that unlocks his repressed memories. By April 2026, it’s remembered as one of the most polarizing shows in the vault—a visual spectacle that dared to rewrite the lore, for better or worse. THE PROS The action choreography is a total win; when the Spartans actually get to fight, the "Spartan-time" and the heavy, metallic feel of the MJOLNIR armor are a sincere joy to watch. Season 2, under new showrunner David Wiener, was a massive improvement, giving us a gritty, high-stakes retelling of the Fall of Reach that felt like the *Halo* we’ve been waiting for.
