⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 6/10 THE SUMMARYThree lifelong best friends, Maddie, Helen, and Dana Sue, navigate the rocky waters of romance, family, and career in the cozy, gossipy Southern town of Serenity. Bonding over massive jugs of margaritas during their weekly "pour it out" sessions, the trio lean on each other to juggle messy divorces, new business ventures, and local town drama, all while trying to raise their chaotic teenagers. THE PROSThe core chemistry between the three leads is pure comfort food, making their friendship feel completely genuine and heartwarming. It is the ultimate laid-back, low-stakes watch where you can just switch your brain off and look at gorgeous small-town aesthetics. The dialogue flows naturally, and the show handles complex family dynamics, like rebuilding life after a public divorce, with a decent amount of sincerity and warmth. THE CONSThe melodrama is laid on incredibly thick, often crossing the line into pure soap-opera corniness. Every character speaks in bizarrely perfect Southern proverbs, which gets quite repetitive and unrealistic after a couple of episodes. The pacing can feel a bit sluggish as the script prioritizes minor town gossip over major plot progression, and the endless romantic cliffhangers start to feel a bit manipulative by the end of the season.
