Created by *Sons of Anarchy* mastermind Kurt Sutter, the show follows two rival matriarchs—one a gritty Irish survivor (Headey) and the other a ruthless silver mine owner (Anderson)—as they clash over a piece of land with a secret underneath. By April 2026, it is officially the shortest-lived "prestige" show in the 900+ archive, having been axed just weeks into the new year. THE PROS Gillian Anderson is a total win; her performance as the "quietly menacing" Constance Van Ness is a sincere masterclass in understated villainy.
