⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 8/10 THE SUMMARYDwight "The General" Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) is a mob capo who walked out of prison after 25 years only to get a "thank you" gift of being exiled to Oklahoma. Realizing his old New York family has no place for him, Dwight starts building his own empire in Tulsa with a ragtag crew including a taxi driver, a pot shop owner, and a massive guy named Bigfoot. As of April 2026, we’ve seen Dwight face off against everything from the Kansas City mob to oil tycoons and liquor magnates. It is a Taylor Sheridan-produced crime drama that feels like a modern western disguised as a mob flick, proving that you’re never too old to start a new racket. THE PROSSylvester Stallone is a total win here. He plays Dwight with a mix of old-school honor and "get off my lawn" energy that is hilarious and genuinely sincere. Seeing a classic mafia guy try to navigate the world of Uber, crypto, and legal weed is comedy gold that doesn't feel forced. The show does a great job of giving the supporting cast actual depth; they aren't just background muscle, they’re a found family. The arrival of Robert Patrick in Season 3 as the villainous Jeremiah Dunmire has been a highlight, bringing a "terminator-level" threat that finally feels like a match for Stallone.
