Nursery teacher Jenny (Kelly Reilly) and her boyfriend Steve (Michael Fassbender) head to a remote quarry lake for some peace and quiet, but their trip is gatecrashed by a gang of aggressive local teenagers. What starts as a series of honest provocations and petty theft quickly escalates into a legendary nightmare of torture and pursuit through the woods. It’s a visceral, high-stakes look at "hoodie horror" and the terrifying reality of a situation spiraling completely out of control. THE PROS This earns an 8/10 because it is an absolute winner in building unbearable tension.
