    ⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 9/10 THE SUMMARY The wait is officially over. After four years of military enlistment and solo projects, the biggest boy band on the planet reunites in this intimate Netflix documentary. Directed by Bao Nguyen, the film follows RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook as they gather in Los Angeles to record their comeback album, 'Arirang'. It’s a raw, behind-the-scenes look at seven men rediscovering their collective identity, stripping away the global superstardom to show the brotherhood underneath as they prepare for their massive comeback performance at Gwanghwamun Square. THE PROS This is epic status for the ARMY. Bao Nguyen avoids the glossy, over-edited vibe of typical concert docs, choosing instead to give the members mini DV camcorders to film their own lives. The result is a sincere and quality look at their vulnerability—seeing them grapple with the pressure of returning after a hiatus is a total win for storytelling. It’s a 9/10 because it captures the quiet moments: the songwriting camp in L.A., the car confessionals, and the genuine relief of being back together as a unit. The transition from these lo-fi home videos to the high-octane stadium rehearsals is punchy and visually stunning. THE CONS It misses a 10/10 mark because the 93-minute runtime feels a bit quality-deficient for a story this big; you could easily watch another hour of their studio sessions. The pacing in the final third, which rushes through the technical setup for the Seoul concert, can feel slightly sluggish compared to the emotional weight of the first half.
