⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 8/10 THE SUMMARYThe ultimate, bittersweet curtain call for the world's most lovable group of absolute lunatics. Marking the 25th anniversary of the franchise, Johnny Knoxville and the gang get back together for one genuinely final ride that functions as part "greatest hits" compilation and part completely fresh chaos. The film cleverly balances legendary, never-before-seen archive footage and emotional modern-day reflections with a brand-new batch of incredibly painful, side-splitting stunts that push their aging bodies to the absolute limit. THE PROSThe nostalgic reflection is masterclass, weaving in classic flashbacks of lost legends like Ryan Dunn and old-school archive footage that will give lifelong fans proper goosebumps. Steve-O and Chris Pontius are in fantastic, vintage form, providing a massive dose of contagious energy and showing a deep, genuine camaraderie that forms the real beating heart of the movie. The sheer variety of the new stunts hits the mark perfectly, trading heavy head trauma for brilliantly creative, laugh-out-loud physical comedy like the deeply unsettling "Human Pretzel" laxative game. THE CONSBecause the runtime is tightly split between classic clips and the new material, a few of the newer cast members from the previous outing get slightly pushed into the background with less screen time. The pacing stalls a touch during a couple of the extended talking-head interviews in the middle, which can briefly break the frantic, high-octane energy of the pranks. THE VERDICTA great 8/10. It is a wonderfully rowdy, gross, and surprisingly heartfelt farewell that gives this legendary franchise the exact cinematic send-off it fully deserves.
