⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 7/10 THE SUMMARY Bridget Jones (Renée Zellweger) is back, and this time she’s navigating the gritty world of modern dating as a fifty-something widow and single mum. After the tragic loss of Mark Darcy, Bridget is nudged by her loyal friends to get back out there, leading her into the chaotic territory of dating apps, social media gaffes, and a fling with a much younger man (Leo Woodall). It’s a sincere, funny, and occasionally pained look at starting over when you thought your story was already written, proving that Bridget’s ability to find herself in awkward situations is truly timeless. THE PROS Renée Zellweger slips back into the character like a warm cardigan, and it’s an absolute win to see her bring such an honest, vulnerable edge to Bridget’s grief. It hits a 7 because the film doesn't shy away from the sadness of her situation, balancing the classic slapstick with some genuinely moving moments. The chemistry between Bridget and her younger "toy boy" is a win—it’s witty, charming, and avoids feeling like a cliché.
