⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 6/10 THE SUMMARY Following the death of Superman, Bruce Wayne is fueled by a newfound faith in humanity and a looming threat from the stars. He enlists the help of his new ally, Diana Prince, to recruit a team of metahumans—Aquaman, Cyborg, and the Flash—to stand against Steppenwolf. This horn-headed general is hunting for three "Mother Boxes" hidden on Earth to reshape the planet into a hellscape. The team has to learn to work together and eventually decide that the only way to save the world is to bring back the Man of Steel himself. THE PROS Ezra Miller’s Flash provides some much-needed humor, making the interaction between the heroes feel punchy rather than just gloomy. The return of Superman is an epic moment, even if it feels a bit rushed, and seeing the League finally stand together in one frame is a quality payoff for long-time fans. Jason Momoa brings a cool, rock-star energy to Aquaman that makes the character a win compared to his older comic versions. It’s a decent watch because it’s a bright, fast-paced adventure that doesn't take itself as seriously as the previous entries. THE CONS It earns a 6/10 because it’s a bit of a "Frankenstein’s monster" of a movie, with two different directorial styles clashing in every scene. The CGI on Steppenwolf is a bit of a damp squib, making him feel like a generic video game boss rather than a terrifying threat. The most glaring issue is the digital removal of Henry Cavill's mustache, which leaves Superman looking slightly "uncanny valley" and can be a bit of a distraction. It misses a higher mark because the plot is incredibly formulaic and the pacing feels sluggish in the final act. THE VERDICT A 6/10. Decent for a one-time watch if you want a lighter superhero flick. It’s a winner if you just want to see the icons together, but it pales in comparison to the "Snyder Cut." Go and watch it for the "Flash vs. Superman" mid-credits scene—it’s quality. INSOMNIAC TRIVIA • Mustache-Gate: Henry Cavill had to film reshoots for this while also filming 'Mission: Impossible – Fallout'. Because he was contractually forbidden from shaving his mustache for that role, the production had to digitally remove it in post-production, leading to the infamous "rubbery lip" look.• Deleted History: This version of the film is nearly two hours shorter than the original director's cut. Major characters and subplots, including Darkseid and the backstory for Cyborg, were completely removed to keep the runtime under 120 minutes.• Wonder Woman's Theme: Hans Zimmer didn't return for this version; instead, Danny Elfman took over and famously incorporated bits of the 1989 'Batman' theme and the 1978 'Superman' theme into the score. THE VIBE Like a rushed group project. It smells like burnt coffee, CGI rendering fans, and expensive regret.

THE SUMMARY
