Overview

An American soldier who had been killed during the Vietnam War is revived 25 years later by the military as a semi-android, UniSols, a high-tech soldier of the future. After the failure of the initiative to erase all the soldier's memories, he begins to experience flashbacks that are forcing him to recall his past.

⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 7/10 THE SUMMARY Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren face off in this 1992 sci-fi actioner about dead Vietnam soldiers resurrected as high-tech, memory-wiped super-soldiers known as "UniSols." Luc Deveraux (Van Damme) starts having flashbacks to the night he died, specifically the moment he tried to stop his psychotic sergeant, Andrew Scott (Lundgren), from massacring a village. As Deveraux goes on the run with a nosey reporter, a vengeful Scott—now a reanimated killing machine with a necklace of human ears—is hot on his trail. It’s a quintessential 90s blockbuster that blends "Frankenstein" themes with heavy-duty firepower and plenty of roundhouse kicks.
