    ⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 6/10 THE SUMMARY Tom Hardy returns for one final go as Eddie Brock and his chatty symbiotic pal in the closing chapter of Sony’s trilogy. This time, the duo is on the run from both the military and a terrifying new threat: the Xenophages, sent by the symbiote creator Knull to retrieve a "Codex" that can only be destroyed if Eddie or Venom dies. The plot takes them from a bar in Mexico to the deserts of Nevada and eventually into the depths of Area 51. It’s a road-trip movie that tries to balance high-stakes universe-ending drama with the bizarre, campy buddy-comedy energy that has become the franchise’s trademark. THE PROS Tom Hardy remains the absolute winner of this series; his dual performance is as weird and sincere as ever, and he clearly has a blast playing off himself. The chemistry between Eddie and Venom is the honest heart of the film, and when it leans into the absurdity—like a literal dance sequence in a Las Vegas penthouse—it’s a total blast. It’s a 6/10 because the brisk 109-minute runtime keeps things moving, ensuring you’re never far from the next CGI brawl or a goofy one-liner. The horseback riding sequence is a creative highlight that captures that "wild energy" fans love. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Juno Temple bring some much-needed acting quality to the military and scientist roles, even if the script doesn't give them much to chew on.
