Her plans for misery are interrupted when she discovers a literal Monster (Tommy Dewey) living in her closet. Instead of eating her, the Monster helps her reclaim her voice and her rage. It’s a dark, gritty romantic comedy that mashes together Broadway musical vibes with a psychological "Beauty and the Beast" spin for the modern era.
