Overview

The show follows Crime Scene Investigators working for the Miami-Dade Police Department as they use physical evidence, similar to their Las Vegas counterparts, to solve grisly murders. ⭐ Insomniacs Rating: 7/10 THE SUMMARY Grab your shades and lean at a 45-degree angle. *CSI: Miami* (2002–2012) is the neon-soaked, pun-heavy spin-off that turned David Caruso’s sunglasses into a cultural landmark. Following Lt. Horatio Caine and his team at the Miami-Dade Crime Lab, the show trades the gritty shadows of Las Vegas for the blinding glare of South Florida. By April 23, 2026, it is officially the "King of the One-Liner" in the 900+ archive, currently enjoying a massive revival thanks to the 2024 launch of the true-crime series *The Real CSI: Miami*, which has kept the brand trending on Paramount+ all year. THE PROS David Caruso is a total win; his performance as Horatio Caine is so stylised it’s practically performance art—the dramatic pauses and "shades-on" moments are the 900+ archive's best unintentional comedy.
