Overview

Forensic psychiatrist Dr Joel 'Laz' Lazarus is forced to confront long-buried demons after his father Dr L dies in suspicious circumstances. At first assured his dad's death is a suicide, Laz is soon sucked into a world of murderous conspiracy, and a race to find the killer, by strange visions of people he knows to be dead.

However, things get "Coben-esque" immediately when Laz starts seeing the ghosts of his father’s dead patients and realizes that his dear old dad might have been a serial killer. By April 2026, it’s remembered as a stylish but deeply polarizing thriller that tried to mix a standard murder mystery with a full-blown supernatural horror twist. THE PROS Bill Nighy is a total win; even as a "ghostly apparition," he brings a sincere, dry-witted elegance to the screen that makes the 900+ archive feel a bit classier.
