THE PROSSam Worthington is brilliant in the lead, dropping the usual action-hero swagger to play a deeply broken, grieving dad who has absolutely nothing left to lose. Britt Lower matches his energy perfectly as the determined sister-in-law, making them a cracking duo to anchor the frantic manhunt. The story hooks you right from the opening episode, delivering that rapid-fire suspense and classic pacing that keeps you clicking "next episode" way past your bedtime. THE CONSAs is typical with these types of thrillers, you have to completely park your common sense at the door. The sheer amount of massive coincidences and convenient escapes required to keep the plot moving gets a bit ridiculous by the halfway mark. When the big, final twist is dropped, it relies on a proper head-melter of a plot hole regarding a fake DNA timeline that completely falls apart if you think about it for more than two seconds. THE VERDICTA solid 7/10. It is a highly bingeable, fast-paced thriller that does exactly what it says on the tin. It snags a comfortable 7 because the central mystery is genuinely gripping and the lead performances keep it grounded when the writing goes off the rails. It misses an 8 simply because the massive logic gaps and the over-the-top finale feel a bit too silly to take seriously.
