Theo Faron (Clive Owen), a cynical former activist, is recruited by his ex-wife to escort a young woman named Kee (Clare-Hope Ashitey) to safety. When Theo discovers Kee is miraculously pregnant, the mission becomes a visceral race across a war-torn landscape to reach a pained, mythical sanctuary known as the Human Project. It’s a gritty, masterfully shot odyssey about the survival of hope in a world that has already given up.
