Unlike previous entries that leaned heavily into military brawn, this one focuses on the intellectual and emotional connection between the sisters as they try to outsmart a creature that has evolved just as much as humanity has. THE PROS This is a win for taking the franchise in a completely fresh direction without losing the core "hunt" energy. Elle Fanning is a total belter in the lead role, bringing a grounded, gritty performance that makes the stakes feel real. The creature design is an absolute standout—it’s a celebratory explosion of new tech and primitive weaponry that makes the Predator feel genuinely terrifying again. It’s a good movie because it focuses on the tension of the chase rather than just mindless action, making every encounter feel earned and punchy.
