After wandering off during a harvest festival, he has a literal run-in with his natural enemy: a majestic, green Javan bird named Ivy (Juno Temple). When the pair falls into a hidden cavern and triggers a magical, glowing pod, they find themselves in a pained and confusing body swap. Now, Ollie is a flightless bird and Ivy is a ground-bound furball. They have to stop bickering and navigate the pained, predatory world of "The Valley" to find another pod and stop the villainous Firewolf from torching their home. THE PROS The 3D CG animation is a total highlight, offering a "visually ravishing" mythical forest that feels like a sincere, storybook world come to life. It hits a 7 because the chemistry between Michael B. Jordan and Juno Temple is electric, even when they’re just squawking and chattering.
